Yesterday’s Highlights
The White Sox, bolstered by Daniel Palka and Yoán Moncada homers and a brilliant pitching performance by Lucas Giolito, battered the Royals, 10–1, in the rubber game of the three-game series and final contest before the All-Star break. The Sox also won three of five on the homestand.
In addition to his 12th homer, a two-run shot in the first inning to start the White Sox scoring, Palka collected a pair of singles. Moncada had a 3-for-4 day with a walk and three runs scored including his 12th HR in the fifth frame.
