4 takeaways from the White Sox-Tigers series, including Tim Anderson wearing out Detroit’s pitching and Luis Robert going viral yet again on a routine fly ball to left field

Here are four takeaways from the four-game series at Guaranteed Rate Field, in which the Chicago White Sox swept the Detroit Tigers.

Anderson went 2-for-5 with two home runs Monday and added four more hits, including the leadoff home run, with three RBIs and three runs Tuesday. He went 1-for-4 with one RBI Wednesday, and 2-for-4 Thursday with his fourth homer of the series.

Anderson has had the Tigers’ number. He’s slashing .519/.552/1.185 (14-for-27) with a double, five home runs, eight RBIs and 13 runs in six games against Detroit this season.

“Continuing to pick up where I left off last year and continuing to grow and continuing to mature each and every day and learn and just continue to work,” he said after Tuesday’s game.
