The rookie, one of the top prospects in the game, stumbled and fell in the batter’s box as he hit a solo home run to center against Carlos Rodon during Saturday’s intrasquad game.
“It was the first time that something like that happened to me,” Robert said through an interpreter. “I was sitting on a soft pitch on the outside, and then this pitch was in and I had to react and swing the bat, and I think that was why I fell when I hit the ball.”
Adam Engel hit a two-run home run to left field off of Reynaldo Lopez.
