Lynn was so comfortable on the mound for his first start of the spring, he wanted to get in a third inning of work.
“I would have liked to have gone back out,” he said in a conference call. “I asked to go back out, but you know it’s early in spring here. Pitch count wise, (my) last live (batting practice) I was more than I was today so I was looking forward to going back out.
“But they’ve got a plan and we’re in a good spot and everything physically feels good. Looking forward to the next one.
