Perhaps the most enigmatic prospect in the entire White Sox system is Isaiah Carranza, drafted in the 12th round in 2018 but yet to have thrown a single professional pitch. Yes, injury and pandemic have prevented this high-ceiling arm from showing anything as of yet.
But wow, is there upside. Beyond his 6´5´´ frame, Carranza has an uncommon touch with his pitches, displaying great control while also flashing big-K ability.
While pitching for Division II Azusa Pacific in 2018, Carranza went 9-1 in 13 starts, with two complete games.
