Voting was heated, but it was a (delayed, compared to last year) big push for Andrew Perez that saw him leapfrog fellow LHRP Bennett Sousa, winning with 30% (21 of 70 votes). Apparently, SSS experts know a little more than Sox brass? Sousa is in big-league camp, Perez is not.

Perez actually fell from his lofty No. 23 ranking in 2020, after debuting at No. 53 in our poll in 2019.
