Fire general manager Nelson Rodriguez acquired cash, a draft pick and the discovery rights of an unnamed player for the rights to Alejandro Bedoya. It was another move to stockpile cash for the Fire. Whether the financial war chest is ready or not, it must be deployed in the winter window.
