Hue Jackson is 1-20 as coach of the Browns, and for some reason I picked them last week against the Jets. I am an idiot. A 9-5 against-the-spread idiot, but an idiot.
That’s OK, because unlike Jackson, I am going to be doing this for a while. Hue is a very good offensive coordinator on his second head coaching job, the first with the Raiders. One of my favorite lines after his one season was, “What I tell you and what I tell the players are two different things.”
That seems like a lot of work.
Last year, Jackson made sure everyone outside the locker room knew at the end of the season that he never wanted starting quarterback Cody Kessler.
