CHICAGO (December 11, 2019) – The U-17 Chicago Fire FC Academy team won all three Group C games of the 2019 Winter Cup, scoring 12 goals while allowing only two. The nine points placed the team at the top of the table to advance to the Spring Cup Championship, where it will be placed in a knockout bracket against the likes of Sporting Kansas City, Philadelphia Union, Inter Miami CF, Montreal Impact, Sockers FC, LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes.
The Championship will take place April 29-May 4 at a location to be announced and will be the final event of the inaugural DA Cup.
