Through bumps, bruises and the flu, these five Argonauts have made it to the finish line

On the Tuesday before the Toronto Argonauts played the 17th game of the season, defensive back Rico Murray woke up with an upset stomach. He had played in each of the team's first 16 games, and in an effort to extend his streak, he spent the next three days “drinking Pepto-Bismol” before practice.

By Saturday, hours before kickoff, he was suffering chills and other flu-like symptoms.

“Me, out there, worried about a tight stomach, it's not comparable to somebody who's out there giving their all with broken bones,” said Murray. “I don't want to make it about me, or anything.
