Olli Juolevi was the first defenseman taken in the 2016 NHL draft at No. 5 overall. Nevermind not being the best defenseman in the draft, he may not have been the best London Knights defenseman in the class.
I'm referring, of course, to the recently very-hyped Victor Mete.
Before Montreal Canadiens fans get too excited, Mete will more than likely not be a top pairing D-man, ever. So let's take a step back with anointing him as Shea Weber's partner. I'd bet Mete settles in as a No. 3 or 4 defenseman, but one that can quarterback a power play.
