1. A baseball season ends abruptly and quietly for all but one team. After seven-plus months together, Indians players and coaches made rounds in a somber clubhouse in the early hours of Thursday morning saying their goodbyes, shaking hands, embracing. While Francisco Lindor noted much of the team, “19 or 20” members of the 25-man roster will likely be back, not everyone will return. And it’s unclear if the Indians will be in as strong a position a year from now, in possession of a No. 1 seed, the game’s top run differential, a Cy Young favorite, MVP contender and 102-win season.
