Just a few hours before the Indians put on ski goggles, popped bubbly and lit cigars to celebrate their Central Division title nearly two weeks ago, Jay Bruce sat in front of a crowd of reporters at Progressive Field and confidently said complacency wouldn't be an issue in the weeks ahead.
“That’s just not in our nature,” Bruce said. “We have a lot more than we can accomplish. I don’t think it’s going to be an issue.”
