Raiders Film Room: Downing draws up a winning game plan to get the offense back on track

People were calling for Todd Downing's head. After putting together two masterful game plans to start the season, the offense and all of its stars took a serious dip in production. Part of it was on the players but the Raiders offensive coordinator and his inexperience played a huge factor in it as well. He struggled to make in-game adjustments and his offense was ineffective, out of balance, and too easy to read.

I admittedly doubted him during this rough stretch and though Downing isn't out of the woods yet, he brought the offense back to life in a do-or-die game Thursday as the Raiders beat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-30.
