Portzline: Josh Anderson ends long, fruitless contract standoff with Blue Jackets

Blue Jackets right winger Josh Anderson, after missing all of training camp and the preseason in a contract squabble with the club, has agreed to terms late Monday on a three-year, $5.55 million contract.
The deal will pay Anderson $1.85 million per season.
Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.ca was first to report the agreement. The contract has not been finalized as it has not yet been signed and returned by Anderson's agent, Darren Ferris.
The deal that Anderson accepted is the same deal the Blue Jackets have had on the table for months now, The Athletic has learned, meaning his absence from camp was fruitless.
