EVANSTON, Ill. — Shaka Toney exited the visitors’ locker room via a one-man entourage, with fellow end Shareef Miller escorting him to interviews with his arm on his shoulder.
“That’s my son, man,” Miller said to the reporters who had assembled around Toney after the redshirt freshman’s career-best day of two sacks and one forced fumble.
“Really proud of him, man,” Miller said. “He stepped up, man.”
