Neither rain nor fatigue nor a punishing travel schedule will keep the Chicago Red Stars from their appointed route. Determined to get back on track following their tough 2-1 loss in Seattle on Wednesday, Chicago successfully repelled the Pride’s siege through 90 minutes. A successfully-converted penalty late in the second half helped lift the Red Stars over their hosts, giving them a win in the second round of this four-game road trip.
