Blues 5, Flames 2
Blues captain Alex Pietrangelo doesn't want to talk about it, but if he continues to play like this, the topic will be tough to avoid.
The defenseman had another goal Wednesday against Calgary, continuing an impressive start to the 2017-18 season, one that has him being mentioned as a likely candidate for the Norris Trophy.
Pietrangelo's fourth goal of the season has him tied with Tampa Bay's Mikhail Sergachev for the most in the NHL by a defenseman and with 12 points he's tops among all blueliners in the league.
The 27-year-old has been in the NHL full-time since 2010-11 and despite five 40-point seasons and a career plus-minus rating of plus-60, Pietrangelo has never finished as a top-three finalist for the trophy.
