There's an awful lot to like about the way the Maple Leafs have started this season.
You could see in camp that they meant business, but that doesn't always necessarily translate. After six games that count, it obviously has.
And it's not just the record. A lot of teams are 4-1 or 5-1 right now, and in most cases, you have to be careful not to make too much of it. It's just early — and you can see the holes showing.
But the Leafs aren't fluking points. Including Tuesday's 2-0 win over Washington, they've been the better team in almost all of their games, save for some lapses against New Jersey and Montreal.
