Mingo Minute: Monis plays again, but Forward Madison’s home opener ends in a scoreless draw

Forward Madison’s home opener had more appearances from trains than it did goals, but in the end, the Mingos walked away with their first point of 2020.

Forward played Greenville Triumph to a 0-0 draw in the first match of the season at Hart Park in Wauwatosa, WI, which is serving as the USL League One side’s temporary home for the 2020 season.

Chicago Fire Homegrown Alex Monis saw action in his second match of 2020, coming on at halftime for Louis Bennett. Forward Head Coach Daryl Shore said he was impressed with Monis’ speed on the wing.
