Chicago Fire Homegrown forward Alex Monis made his professional debut over the weekend, coming on for Forward Madison FC late in a 2-1 loss at North Texas.
Monis replaced Paulo Junior in the 74th minute, looking to help the Mingos pull back a goal at Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX. It was the USL League One season opener for both teams.
Fellow Fire loanees Allan Rodriguez and Chris Brady were both unused substitutes in the match. The trio are loan through the rest of the season, but the Fire reserve the right to call them back at any time.
