Blues coach Mike Yeo scripts the first two weeks of practices in training camp, but then as the season gets underway he adjusts to what the team’s needs are.
“What area of your game needs more work, more detail?” Yeo said. “It could be some of the habits, it could be structure, it could be individual skills, conditioning, whatever the case is. That’s where as coaches we get together and we sort of assess what’s needed for that day.”
The Blues weren’t perfect during their 4-0 start, but their needs weren’t as glaring as they were in back-to-back losses to Florida and Tampa Bay.
