Former Chicago Fire forward and MLS Most Valuable Player Award winner Mike Magee is set to be enshrined in the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame at their Wintrust Arena induction ceremony on Wednesday night.
u200bEach year the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame honors and memorializes athletes, coaches, teams, officials, media and others who have distinguished themselves with their contributions to sports. Magee, 35, is the latest in a line of former Fire players to be honored, joining 2018 inductee Frank Klopas and 2017 inductee Brian McBride. Former Club owner Andrew Hauptman was recognized by the organization as its Sports Advocate of the Year in 2017.
