The depleted Minnesota Wild lineup will get some relief this weekend for their road games in Canada with the return of forward Marcus Foligno. Mikael Granlund will also make the trip but will be a game-time decision for both Friday versus the Winnipeg Jets and Saturday against the Calgary Flames.
Granlund and Foligno rejoined the group at practice on Thursday. The Wild skated with 13 forwards and seven defensemen for the first time this week.
“It felt really good [to be back],” Foligno said. “[I’m] happy with how everything’s going so far. I’ve recovered well. I’m just excited to be back playing.
