MINNEAPOLIS — Soaked in champagne, Minnesota Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve reflected on the journey that started in 2010 and persisted Wednesday with a fourth WNBA title in seven seasons.
Reeve, the emotional and hard-charging coach, fought back tears as she thought about the time spent with her team, the core of which has changed little over the years.
“I can’t tell you how blessed I feel to just be around these guys every day,” Reeve said. “You know, most importantly about this group, we let each other be ourselves, and there is so much to be said for that.
