As the first pitch approached for Wednesday's Game 4, a mist settled over Wrigley Field as the outfield flags whipped in toward home plate.

A few hours earlier, Cubs manager Joe Maddon discussed the conditions and the difficulty batters would have hitting home runs, going so far as to call this version of Wrigley a “pitcher's paradise.”
