Well, here we are again, on the brink of another NHL season.
As they always do, the Blackhawks will head into this one with their “One Goal,” mantra firmly intact – despite back-to-back exits in the first round of the playoffs.
Maybe they should set a new “One Goal,” that’s a little more attainable, such as making it out of the first round, perhaps, or lasting longer in the postseason than Mike Glennon did as the Bears starting quarterback.
Chicagoans would gladly welcome the Stanley Cup back, of course, but maybe the Blackhawks should focus on some baby steps before they break into a sprint.
