Following the announcement of Bastian Schweinsteiger's move to the Chicago Fire after an up-and-down tenure with Premier League club Manchester United, German National Team manager Joachim Low told a news conference that he believes the 32-year-old former German captain can still contribute at a high level.
In an article published this morning by ESPNFC' Stephan Uersfeld, Low was candid when asked about Schweinsteiger's abilities relative to the playing time he received at his former club.
"His performances in training were very, very good. I've also been told from others," Low told a news conference, according to Uersfeld's article.
