Four Chicago Fire Academy Players to Participate in First Ever U.S. Soccer Men’s YNT Summit

CHICAGO (Dec. 29, 2017) – Four Chicago Fire Academy products have been selected to participate in the first ever U.S. Soccer Men’s Youth National Team Summit. Under the leadership of U.S. Soccer Youth Technical Director Tab Ramos, 153 players have been named to rosters for the U.S. U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-20 Youth National Teams for the camp, running from Jan. 2-11 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Defenders David Mendoza of Gage Park, Ill. and Nick Slonina of Addison, Ill. have been named to the U-18 roster.

Goalkeeper Damian Las of Chicago has been named to the U-17 roster while midfielder Javier Casas of Addison, Ill.
