Fire Will Travel To Cincinnati For The USOC Fifth Round

The Fifth Round draw for the Lamar Hunt United States Open Cup was held earlier this morning at Soccer House in Chicago.

The Chicago Fire earned a berth in the Fifth Round thanks to their 1-0 win over Saint Louis FC last night. With this morning’s draw, the Fire know their opponent for the next round.

FC Cincinnati, who pulled off a major— some might say “massive”— upset over That Yellow Effing Team last night.

FCC will host the Fifth Round tie on June 28th— that’s a Wednesday, for you S8OT folks— at the University of Cincinnati’s Nippert Stadium.
