Wednesday night's MLS All-Star Game will have a decidedly Chicago flavor, not only because the city and the Fire are hosting the event, but the team is coached by Veljko Paunovic and features four Fire players.
Bastian Schweinsteiger, who was voted as the team captain of the squad that will take on Euro champions Real Madrid, is joined by Dax McCarty, Nemanja Nikolic and Johan Kappelhof on the roster. The spectacle and glamour of the game itself has taken over the conversation early this week, but the Fire also have an important match ahead of them on Saturday night in hosting the New England Revolution.
