After months of rumors and tweets about it being a “done deal,” Przemysu0142aw Frankowski is, finally, a done deal.
The Chicago Fire announced earlier today that they had signed the Polish international from Jagiellonia Bialystok through the 2022 MLS season. Details of the agreement weren’t disclosed, although the club did volunteer that Discretionary TAM constituted at least part of the funding for the transfer.
Chicago will be the third club Frankowski has played for at the senior level— and at only 23 years old, he still has a lot of potential upside. Most of his club career to date has been with Bialystok, where he made 140 appearances in five seasons, scoring 24 goals.
