Eagles players talk ‘home game' 3,000 miles away from Philadelphia

Carson, Calif. — Before he played a supporting role in the Eagles’ three-headed rushing attack on Sunday, Wendell Smallwood admitted that he had a momentary misunderstanding when going through pregame warmups.
“I heard booing during the pre-game and I thought Carson [Wentz} was coming out,” Smallwood said. “But it was actually the Chargers players. It was like, ‘Man, this is crazy, this is a home game for us.’”
