SHENZHEN, China — The Warriors and Timberwolves are both in China this week for the NBA Global Games, but the two teams are treating the trip a bit differently, illustrating their separation on the league's totem pole and the divergent approach of the men who run each program.
The Warriors spent the week leading up to the trip at home. They played at Oracle Arena on Saturday night but didn't fly out until Sunday afternoon and won't practice together as a team until Wednesday in Shenzhen. They'll be away from the Bay Area for the bare minimum — eight days.
