New York City FC star David Villa continues to dominate the Audi Player Index.
In a 2-1 win over the Chicago Fire on Saturday, Villa had six shots and five chances created. He scored the opening goal in the victory.
Villa's 59 total touches ranked second on the team behind Maxi Moralez. He completed 79 percent of his passes, the most among FC players with at least 15 passes.
Villa's goal was his third of the season from outside the box. He is the only player on his team to score from outside the attacking penalty area this season.
