LAKE FOREST, Ill. — New to press conferences this season at Halas Hall is a Dowell Loggains opening statement each week. It’s allowed him to set the tone and get some thoughts out before we berate him with quarterback questions.
The conversation about Glennon since Sunday has been the team’s inability to throw the ball downfield. Before we could ask, Loggains gave his take on the 101 passing yards in Sunday’s win.
“We're very aware that it's going to be hard to win NFL games throwing for just over 100 yards,” Loggains said. “You go into games with a game plan and all of a sudden they do something different and you adjust to it, that's why obviously more runs were called.
