The Chicago Red Stars will host the third-placed Washington Spirit for the sixth match of the NWSL regular season tonight in Bridgeview, Illinois. The match will kickoff at 7:00 PM CT.
The Red Stars are coming off of a 1-0 win over the defending NWSL champions, the North Carolina Courage. Rachel Hill’s first-half goal was the only difference between the two teams in what was Chicago’s second win of the season following a difficult first few weeks of 2021.
The visiting Washington Spirit are coming off a three-game unbeaten streak, which involved wins over the Houston Dash and OL Reign, as well as a draw with Orlando.
