Chicago Fire Soccer Club Acquires $150,000 in General Allocation Money, Rights to a Player To-Be-Named during 2019 MLS SuperDraft

CHICAGO (Jan. 11, 2019) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club today acquired $150,000 in General Allocation Money and the rights to a player to-be-named at a later date during the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, presented by adidas, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Beginning the draft with the No. 5 overall SuperDraft selection, the Fire received the No. 15 overall pick and $100,000 in General Allocation Money from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for the No. 5 overall selection.
