Chicago Fire Sign Goalkeeper Matt Lampson

CHICAGO (Feb. 26, 2016) – The Chicago Fire announced Friday that the club has signed goalkeeper Matt Lampson to a one-year deal with the club option through the second year.

"Matt has proven himself as a winning goalkeeper in MLS," said Fire general manager Nelson Rodríguez. "His character, work ethic and resiliency are all important additions to our team and reflective of what our club values."

Lampson signed his initial professional contract with Crew SC on Dec. 15, 2011 after a standout collegiate career at Ohio State University. He made his MLS debut on Aug.
