The Chicago Fire are winless through the team’s last nine matches, dating back to the end of last season. But, if Fire head coach Raphael Wicky is worried about his team’s poor results thus far in 2021, he didn’t show it in his weekly news conference.
“We need to turn this thing around and we need to start winning games and making points, but I’m very confident with this team and with players coming back slowly, that we will turn this around and we will make points,” Wicky said. “I’m absolutely sure about that. It doesn’t make sense to look back and see how many games (we didn’t win).
