With the No. 1 overall pick, the Chicago Fire selected dynamic midfielder Jack Harrison. The Fire then traded for the No. 4 overall pick, which they used to select USMNT defender Brandon Vincent. In exchange for the No. 4 pick, the Fire promised New York City FC a "player to be named later"
