Chicago Fire FC drops preseason opener to Philadelphia Union

CLEARWATER, FLA. – Chicago Fire FC kicked off its preseason slate on Saturday at Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex, falling 3-0 to Philadelphia Union.

The match marked Philadelphia's second of the preseason after the Union also dropped their opener, 4-0, to Atlanta United on Wednesday.

Chicago played each half with a different starting XI, mixing in returning players, new signings, trialists, and Academy prospects.
