CHICAGO (May 10, 2021) – The Chicago Fire FC Academy U-13, U-14, U-17 and U-19 teams hosted their Indiana Fire Academy counterparts at SeatGeek Stadium on Saturday, May 8. The Fire finished the weekend with an MLS Next record of 3-1-0 across the four age groups in MLS Next play.
Parker Amoo-Mensah set the tone for the U-13 Fire Academy, scoring two goals in the 4-1 win against Indiana Fire. He was assisted by Jack Wesley and Andrej Ilich. Michael Sarna and Ethan Koranda scored a goal apiece for the final score.
The U-14 Fire Academy squad suffered its first league loss of the season, falling 0-1 in the second match of the day.
