CHICAGO (May 30, 2017) – The Chicago Fire begin their 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup campaign when they enter the storied tournament in the fourth round against USL side Saint Louis FC at Toyota Stadium at World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton, Mo. on Wednesday, June 14 at 7 p.m. CT.
Saint Louis FC advanced with a 2-1 win over PDL side Michigan Bucks on May 30.
In addition to its four trophies raised in the historic tournament, the Fire have appeared in a U.S. Open Cup-record 12 tournament semifinals, including an active run of four straight years and five of the last six.
