With the 2021 season done and dusted, the Chicago Fire announced roster decisions on nine players heading into next season.
Here’s who won’t be back:
Robert Beriu0107 - This one shouldn’t come as any surprise, but after a solid first season in 2020, Beriu0107 was ice cold in front of net for most of 2021. His goal scoring picked up at the end of the season, and he managed to finish with eight goals, but it still wasn’t nearly enough for a designated player striker making $2.7 million dollars. The move will free up a DP slot.
