The Sharks have three practices on the calendar before their next game on Thursday at home against Buffalo.
That’s a good thing, because against the Kings at SAP Center, a team that is nearly unchanged from last season played like everybody had all just met each another a few minutes before puck drop.
Logan Couture succinctly summarized the 4-1 Sharks loss, moving them to 0-2 on the season, as “garbage hockey.”
“There should be some urgency when we come to the rink on Monday and practice,” Couture said. “Whether you’re myself and you’ve been here for awhile, I need to be better.
