The Philadelphia 76ers continued their preseason play with a 110-102 loss to the visiting Boston Celtics Friday night at the Wells Fargo Center.
Head coach Brett Brown was shorthanded once again, with Joel Embiid (returning from meniscus surgery), Markelle Fultz (shoulder soreness), Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (tendinitis) and Dario Saric (rest) all missing the game.
Still, with just three exhibition games left in this shortened preseason tilt, each game provides an important opportunity to learn something about this overhauled roster. Here are a few takeaways from last night's game.
1. Sixers continue to generate corner three-point attempts
The Sixers shot 14-31 from beyond the three-point line last night, a big factor in their ability to stay in the game despite the fact that they had little success slowing Boston down.
