After taking a moment to consider an answer, Toronto Argonauts slotback S.J. Green was honest about how he would tackle running back James Wilder Jr., his teammate: “I would like to think I would stick my nose in there and make a play, but you know, he's a big guy, man.”
Wilder, he concluded, is “hell for a defender to try to bring down.”
That raw power also seems to have tilted how the Argos function on offence, a nascent evolution that began after a humbling loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Labour Day. Wilder started the game after that loss, and he will return to Hamilton on Saturday night as an emerging star.
