Alabama’s good at everything, including being cranky about being good

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — At Alabama, an eight-point win sounds an awful lot like a loss.
The way linebacker Rashaan Evans talked about his team’s 27-19 road win at Texas A&M, you’d think something disastrous went down.
“We were very disappointed, to be honest with you,” Evans said. “Me, personally, I was disappointed in our team, how we played and also myself. All we can do right now is go back to the drawing board.”
Back to the drawing board? Was it really that bad? Alabama coach Nick Saban did find plenty to lament afterward. He was legitimately disappointed his top-ranked team grabbed a 24-3 lead early in the third quarter and didn’t pull away and roll on from there.
