The Fire continue to snag some impressive kudos from the league.
Matt Doyle published his TOTW for Week 17 yesterday on behalf of the editorial team at MLSSoccer Dot Com. The best-of nods feature David Accam and Matt Polster in the week’s Best XI.
Accam, of course, bagged himself a hat trick in the Fire’s 4-0 demolition derby with Orlando City. Polster was involved in the build-up to the first goal of the game, earning him a spot in the TOTW backline.
Bastian Schweinsteiger was named as a “substitute” in the TOTW, while Fire head coach Veljko Paunoviu0107 was named manager for the team.
